So, my bike started making this sound recently. Anyone think it can make the 500 mile ride home I have ahead of me? It really only makes the sound on shut off, drives fine, feels normal otherwise...

 

It's hard enough to diagnose something over the internet, so maybe a more detailed description of the sound, or even a short video, might help.

 

I agree and to the OP, if you are that worried about the sound is there a possibility you can find a place close to where you are and have it checked out to see if it's anything serious or not.

 

He did post a short video clip. That is not a still picture. The video includes audio.

 

Before I responded I clicked on that attachment. All I got was the still, no video or audio. The OP never posted back.

 

It does not sound good. Sound like something is binding.

 

Change blinker fluid and muffler bearings.....IMMEDIATELY

I disagree. I thinks it's an oscillating head lamp or maybe a blown gremlin bell.
