Thumbs up Brand new Ohlin's #3#3

These last two days I met Howard at his home. A very nice and knowledgeable guy... a little grumpy but sympathetic

I bought a pair of Ohlin's #3#3 and after a ride of 250 miles I can say that this is quite a difference with my old 912 Progressive. The ride is now what a ride suppose to be

Howard kindly lend me his tools and lift, and supervised the installation and adjustments of my new shocks. I've learned a lot !

Thank you Howard for the excellent service and knowledge sharing, it's been a true pleasure meeting you

Howard's a helluva guy, and no one makes a better shock than Ohlins. When the time comes for me to replace my shocks, Howard is the only guy I'll call.

I have to tell you that after I installed my 3-3 's out of the box built and adjusted for me by Howard I already had a day ride planed to go over all the known road "oh ****" spots that I have been riding over for years. We all know those dips, bumps, rough road surfaces that make you yell bad words as you go over them.

Finally a shock that took them in stride. I went over all the spots with a floating feeling.
Not like a Cadillac but like a single float. It takes the dip and with control and smoothness allows you to go over the spot that used to make you yell "****!" Or worse with ease.

Best shock I've ever had.

When I have the bread, I would like to invest into these. I love my bike but the ride gets tougher to deal with as time goes by. The roads here are rough.

I bought my 3-3's from Howard for my 2011 Road Glide Ultra. I liked them so much that when I traded the bike for my 2015 Limited, I made the dealer take them off the old bike and put them on my Limited to do the deal.

The only thing I will note is that Howard kept insisting I needed to use 25 pound newton springs when riding by myself and then switch the spring for me and my wife and our gear, so he sent me a sent of 33's too. I thought that was kind of crazy, so I went out and got a set of 27's and all is good.

I'll see when I get back up north. Quebec roads are ruffer than down here. But for now I'm very satisfy with the results, I'm in Florida until the end of January and will ride down to the Keys and probably put a couple of thousand miles on the bike before I go back.
