J&S Jack Drain Pan
#2
I got the jack without the drain pan, did an oil change or 3, then asked for one for Christmas. Can't imagine NOT having the drain pan now. Is it absolutely necessary? No. But the first time you drain any of the fluids into the pan you'll be glad you had it. Get the pan, I was glad I did.

I got my pan at the Progressive MC Show last winter. J&S had a booth there, and they were selling them at a discount ($10 or $15 off) and no freight. Freight on that pan is a good chunk of the cost, might be worth a shot to see if J&S is coming out your way. I'm glad I bought that accessory.

When I bought mine J&S was running a special offer and they offered a free Drain pan or T bar when buying a new jack. I went with the pan and after reading this I'm glad I did.
First class company! Free drain pan, Military discount and the rep I talked to informed me for my area a different shipper than Fed-Ex would save me $20 bucks on shipping (Got it in great shape, fast). Just a great buying experience and awesome product, very happy to have purchased from them!!

the pan is worth every penny. the only thing that I do when using it is to leave the engine oil dipstick screwed in when I first start draining the oil. after it has drained some, then I remove the dipstick. the first time I didn't do it this way and the engine oil splashed up over the edge of the pan a little and I had to do some extra cleanup.
