Keep in mind I'm in Fresno, CA

First the listing...




So I emailed the guy. What year? Where are you? when can I see it?

His response...

Hi, this ad was for my brother here's his number (802) 487-6568 text / call you will get details,pictures for the 1985 Harley-Davidson!

Looks like a Vermont area code. Any East coasters want to follow up?

Could be a scam. Neighborhood looks nice, you'd think somewhere in there could figure out it's worth a bit more than that.

If it seems to good to be true, most likely it is.
If it was me , I`d be carrying or request the deal be completed in a police station parking lot

It's a scam.
If you email or contact them with your Craigslist I.D.,, they can use that ID to list and sell stolen items. When they do that, they set up a place to meet the buyer and do a cash deal.

A friend of mine bit on one of those "deals", he's still trying to get his money back. Be careful.

I see that **** on craigslist here all the time. A nice vehicle for way too cheap.
The return text is always something like " I'm posting this for my sister, please call her directly at this number". Scamming bastards. Get a job.
