It's a pretty long ride for some of us, unfortunately! I've got a 'rivet' there, but to visit and see it in the metal is pretty darned expensive. One day perhaps.......

Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley is pretty awesome to. Not just Harley bikes in it & everything runs. Dale even comes around & starts different ones up & runs em while talking about them.

I decided to see the museum so on Labor Day I took of for Wisconsin. A long trip but worth it, even though there was some really boring riding at times getting there and back. I really enjoyed seeing the older bikes and Harley #1 was the high point. It was also interesting to see boats, snowmobiles, golf carts, etc. that were made under the Harley name over the years.
I took lots of pictures and you can see them here if you wish. http://s237.photobucket.com/user/ric...arley%20Museum

Yes great museum, I got lucky on a business trip to Chicago and had enough time to drive up and see it a few years ago. Well worth it.

The wife and I have a road trip to the museum on our joint bucket list.

Time away from medicine... no problem. Time away from the ranch... problem.

That was something at WTTM I saw was awesome to. I never knew Indian made outboard motors either. They had like 3 of them in their museum.

The musuem is very cool, only about 350 miles for me.

Try to make reservations for the steel toe tour also.
