Welcome to the forum.

You may want to try in the Softail section of the forum, you'll probably find the answer there. You might even find an existing thread that answers your question.

Good luck.

how tall are you, and how high of a bar do you want to use. i'm pretty sure that you can use stocks up to a 10 inch rise that's including a 2 inch riser. anything over and you have to replace the cables. just did mine, 14 inch Carlini's and had to buy a cable kit. with the risers i now have 16 1/2 inches. i'm 6'1 and they are right at my shoulders.

My experience has been that whether you need to change cables depends on more factors than just the height of the bars. Height, width, & pullback, all come into play. Good luck with your choice, I think you'll like higher bars.

after all the years of forwards and foot pegs i have never been so happy to have floor boards. my feet were always dancing around on pegs trying to find a comfortable position.
