Just received my 2X Crusher and the thing is freakin huge. Way bigger then my Voss 2X. Looks like a DOT half helmet. I was wondering if the large might be a smaller shell. Unfortunately the phone number is for new orders only and not returns or exchanges. I'm going to call anyway, just wondered if anyone else has bought one.

Couldn't find much on sizing searching the archives except supposedly the half does come in different size shells. Like I said my 2X is huge, but is the correct helmet per the sizing chart. I however think a large would fit.

 

I bought a DOT 3/4 helmet from them and love it. It looks less mushroomy than the regular DOT helmets. Sizing was same as my other helmets,

 

I've got an XL carbon fiber, way smaller than other brands.

 

My buddy picked one up earlier this year at the same time I picked up a Licks Nov DOT 3/4. He's pretty happy with the helmet and hasn't had any issues with it.

 

My SC was a little big for me so I added some material to the liner to make it fit. It's a very nice helmet though, and the carbon really stands out. I use a Daytona 3/4 most of the time, but for short rides the SC is great.

 

Somehow, I just don't believe I'd feel confident wearing a helmet named "Skull Crush"....

 

look, the police don't even know the difference between a DOT and non DOT, so buy what you want and slap a sticker on there. The smallest DOT helmet is made by HCI, and they run around 50 bucks. i have 4 of them, the lightest is their carbon fiber helmet. it's under 2 pounds. But my main helmet is a carbon fiber kevlar mix from HeadTrip. Although it's not DOT, it's super strong and small.
