Default 12v heated gloves

Does anyone have any experience with Volt brand or Macna brand heated gloves? The Volt brand has a lifetime warranty, so I'm looking hard at them. The Macna brand is about the cheapest that comes with the controller.

'Volt' battery powered? I tried a pair last year and returned them. Very good quality but not warm enough for my cold tendency hands.

I'm not looking at the battery powered gloves, only 12v. Some of my rides last 14 hours and battery power just won't last long enough.

I have some Gerbing gloves I bought 5 years ago, they're still working fine. The Gerbing Co was sold a few years ago, I have heard their stuff is still good. The original family has started up a new company, Gordon's. There's a lot of options out there for heated clothing. I wouldn't waste time with battery stuff. I sometimes ride long days, I wouldn't want to screw with batteries, buy powered gear and let your Harley alternator keep you warm!

Is it possible to run heated gloves without the heated jackets or vests? I ask because I am looking at some gloves for now (Gerbing T5) and hopefully before next winter picking up a heated jacket liner to connect them to.
Thanks.

Of course. I've never had a vest or jacket, just gloves.

(I sure would recommend gloves other than G-5's from Gerbing though. I can't speak for many others but I know that mine aren't very good.)
