Lee Parks Deertour Outseam Gloves Initial thought
My two year old Icon Pursuit gloves wrist closure were worn out, the velcro was shot, so I decided to get a new pair of gloves. So today in the mail, I got a new pair of Lee Parks Deertour Gloves. Theses are my first deer skin gloves as well as my first outseam style of gloves. I purchased these gloves from Deertour Outseam Gloves. I used the sizing chart from the web site and I measured out just over a medium size, so I purchased the medium size. I had read other reviews that some people thought these gloves were short in the thumb, but I did not find that to be the case. They fit very, very well. The outseam is very comfortable and I can say that if I need to buy another pair of gloves in the future, I will be once again buying an outseam type of glove. They may not be pretty to look at, but they are way more comfortable than a more traditional construction. The deer skin is very soft and pliable. My old gloves had a goat skin palm and the deer skin offers much more tactile feed back. The knuckles and palm are double layered for extra protection, and from what I can tell, the extra layer in the palm doesn't bind nor do you feel it with your hands on the controls. Overall I'm very happy so far with these gloves, the fit and feel of them. Only time will tell how they hold up, but if they do, then I have found my new favorite glove.

I too have a pair (black).Went with the internal stitching. The seam doesn't bother me at all. Very nice gloves! Looks like they've gone up a bit but worth it for sure!

I don't feel the extra palm piece while riding. Though, I have to say, they are going to take a little getting used to. And what I mean by that is, since they are so soft and tactile sensation is so good that it is almost like not wearing gloves at all. My old Icon gloves weren't like this, so any change will take some getting used to. But I'm very happy with them so far, but these are initial impressions. After a year of riding with them on will really tell me if they are going to hold up and be comfortable.
