Default For those who where prescription sunglasses

Hi
Looking for advice. I wear prescription glasses now that change tint with the light but are very slow to go back to clear. What do you wear when you ride? Fixed tint glasses or ones that change? Any brand as far as lens coatings work better then orhers ?
Thanks
Dave

Transition lens.....bifocals....wrap around. Optometrist provided. Bit expensive, but I love 'em. They change pretty quick, so that's no an issue for me.

I have a pair of Wiley X sunglasses that change from dark-light-dark and are also bifocals. They change back to clear fast enough me. Maybe it takes the sun longer to set down here in the flatlands, so I've never noticed a problem.

I wear the wiley x jakes prescription sun glasses with fixed grey lens . I found transition lens do not get dark enough . I do ride mostly in the day . I do switch to clear non prescription goggles at night which suck but work . I am looking into contacts . Very tired of playing the different glasses game my self . I do also wear full face helmet with my regular clear prescription glasses .The helmet has sun shade that comes down . I do not like wearing the full face helmet .

I have both, the prescription sunglasses are darker if I am riding into the sun. The rest of the time time, i just wear my regular glasses that change.

I have prescription Oakley's, their optical clarity is freaking amazing! For the most part though, I am usually wearing contacts and regular Oakley sunglasses.

Prescription sunglasses. I make mine @ Zenni.com, so I can afford a pair of prescription sunglasses to leave in all my vehicles. Most are bi-focal, for riding I don't where bi-focals.

I went with a Bell Pit Boss half helmet that has a flip down dark tinted shade that comes down to my nose. Works great with regular prescription glasses when its bright outside.

daveswoodcraft , I wear Wileyx prescription that I purchased at a Harley dealer they are very costly especially if you have bifocal as I do and light adjusting. The plus side is they have a lifetime warranty on frame and they are DOT approved for impact resistance. Many of the cheap sunglasses or over the counter so to speak do not offer you quality eye protection. You only get one set of eyes , so you make the choice . Where ever you shop remember the fit and protection is priority of any Brand you consider ! Ebert
