Default Kudos To Custom Engraving LTD!

It's good to see an aftermarket company stand behind their product. I had a derby cover from Custom Engraving on my bike. I've had it for about a year, and it's beautiful - a nicely done piece of work. Well, in November when I was getting off of my bike at a gas station, I noticed the red paint starting to come off pretty bad. It was literally peeling off. So, I peeled what I could off, and pulled the cover off when I got home. By the time I got home that night, most of the red was gone.

So, I threw the stock cover back on and shot a polite email to the folks at Custom Engraving explaining what had happened. I got a very apologetic email back, stating that they had changed some processes recently, and that I should send it back to be fixed. I Dropped it off at Fedex the Friday before Christmas, and they received it the Monday before Christmas.

I received it in the mail on New Years Eve, completely fixed and ready to go. It's the exact same cover - I could tell from one slight imperfection on the back side. They got it done in the middle of the holiday season!

Of course, time will tell if the new curing process fixes the issue. Either way, it's nice to see that there are plenty companies out there that stand behind their products and go out of the way to keep customers happy!

That's a beautiful derby cover, FB. Nice to hear of companies that stand behind their work.

I had an "issue" also and they came through for me. Highly recommend them! Ron

There are still some companies that stand behind their products - kudos for letting us know of another one that does...

Is that ring blue or black? I like the black a little better than the blue. The picture of it on the bike it looks blue. The picture of it in the box it looks black.

You know, I did notice that it looks good without the red as well. If I have the same problem again, I'm just gonna go with it.
