Default What size thread are the wear pegs?

I want to replace the ugly long wear pegs on my foot pegs with shorter titanium bolts. I'm in the UK, so don't have a variety of imperial bolts to try and will have to order them specially. Can somebody tell me what size thread the hole is on the foot peg so I can order the right size?

Many thanks in advance

Part numbers 51323-08 and 51327-08. The wear pegs are part number 54204-11. Not sure exactly what you want a photo of, but google images has plenty of these pegs. Let me know if it's something specific. Thanks for your help

I'dd think most any hardwars or auto parts store would have a thread gauge, wouldn't they? Just pull one and measure it up...

Finding imperials bolts and stuff is like finding hen's teeth in the UK. I can't buy them anywhere, and have to order online specially.

Most likely going to be an Unified national thread. Unless the bikes sold in the UK are made with metric fasteners. They'll be either 1/4-20 or 5/16-18 if they aren't metric. And my bet is the former.

Peg - haven't checked out this site yet, but found it on another thread - the poster said that it included a lot of screw/bolt sizes. I remembered you were looking for thread specs, thought this might help.

Good luck!

Thanks. It's a useful site, but only tells me the part number.

One good thing about NOT being on the metric system here. I can go to the hardware store and get EITHER inch or metric hardware.

I think it's not giving the thread size because the part is not really a bolt. Can you ask someone at the dealer to check the thread size for that part.
