Default Newbie with a question. Exhaust

Hey! Thanks for having me! I own a 11 FXDWG and ive been on the hunt for an exhaust. Really interested in the ones from twisted chopper, they say they will not work with the dyna because of the mid mount oil filler. I have seen photos of a WG and a Bob with them. Just curious if there is any sort of mod or if they just covered it up. Thanks

I almost wonder if it was a typo on their website and meant to write mid mounted controls ....
You might want to inquire with them...

Well, if you look at the pic of that WG that you posted, you can't see the oil filler, as it's right under the rear pipe. If there's little enough clearance, it means that you have to remove the pipe every time you want to add or change oil. I know some people who don't mind something like that to achieve a certain look, but that's bit much for me.

That's the look I would really like but I don't know if it's worth the hassle

Not only that, but you would have to remove the pipe just to check the oil level. There may be enough clearance to unscrew the filler cap and then snake the dipstick out of there, but I bet the manufacturer is warning you off for a reason. The best thing is see if you can find someone who has done it and ask them how it works. How about the owner of that WG?
