Flag Patch Etiquette?
hey guys
Im gonna post this one in here cause its a dumb question but I cant find the answer anywhere and its only a matter of a few posts till I get lit up for it haha
I want to put a Canadian flag on the front of my vest, does it go on the left chest or right chest? any suggestions on a size?
Ive read somewhere that nothing goes above the flag, is that true?
is there a good site to order them from? I just don't see the dollar store ones I walk by at the mall being a very good quality

These seem to be pretty decent quality.
Im not sure on size though. Would 4"x2" be a little extreme? Next step down is 3.25"x1.25" I believe

Being as this is months old im sure you already got a patch put on. However for anyone else stumbles this way. Id say rock what you want but if its your countries flag Definitely abide by it being the highest patch. The veterans i ride with some wear it on the right some on the left. I think what matters most is your happy with what your wearing and your showing respect to your colors. Keep that respect keep that patch highest.

I spent 12 years in the marine corps, oif, oef, and a lot of other crap. I'm happy to see anyone rocking their national flag unless it's a flag from a country they aren't and never have lived in while shunning the flag they're protected by but that's another topic.
Even if it's in the "wrong" spot technically, wear it and love it but you can't go wrong with it over your heart or on either shoulder.
Just for informations sake, if an American is rocking a flag on the right shoulder, stars go to the front (backwards from how you normally see it) because it signifies running towards the fight.
