Default Was the 1982 Sturgis just reincarnated ?

That's what the new Lowrider S looks like to me . A black Sturgis with a 110 cu engine. Any one else think so ?

It looks like a SOA knock off the moco's tossed out there to try and draw in the younger hotrod crowd who had enough sense to not be fooled by the streets fiasco.

I'm not a V-Rod fan but if a guy was looking for something like that he could buy a new V-Rod, throw mids and headlight visor on it and call it done. I believe HD is coming to the ceiling where they can't produce big inch/HP motors and drive lines that are reliable and robust. They cheap out on just about everything. All I see is a bike that you're gonna have to start changing parts on sooner than later if you really ride it.

There are companies and home builders that are getting great reliability out of big inch motors but it's because they're using top shelf parts and build the best that's available. HD has the look but their manufacturing practices limit them on what they can do with an air cooled motor, even on CVOs.

No comparison. 82 Sturgis is classic. Born from the 71 FX and 77 Lowrider THE original factory"customs" it is a personal fav.

Fwiw, I've never seen SOA, and I'm on the far side of 60, riding a touring but if I had some F U cash, that bike in denim black would be hard to resist
