Fork brace

Hi i have a 2002 FXD i put a (I Think) fat boy front on it. The fork
lowers have that longer wide area at the seal.
Will a fork brace for 41mm forks work.
Can't seem to post a pic.

Put the stock set-up back on if possible.

Why

This front end made a big difference in ride qality and noise.
I think it was a big improvement.
