To Trade in or Not

To Trade in or Not
Hi All
I know post like this are subjective but I looking for knowledge from people that have owned a 2007 Road King.
I have been wanting to get a road king lately and I was at a dealer over the weekend with a friend who is looking for a bike and found a 2007 Road King Classic. It has 30k on it. From what the dealer knows it has a stage one setup, fat spoke rims, 14 inch apes, cruise control and a lot of chrome add ons. They do not know if there was any other motor work done to the bike. They did say they did the 30 k service.
Now I have a 2005 fat boy with close to 19K miles on it. Have it pretty much setup how I like it. Did the cams and cam plate upgrade to it last year and runs like an ape.
Jsut looking ot get some thoughts from all of you to see if there is anything I should be looking out for on a 2007 RK.
My payments will stay the same just be extended for a little longer.
Here are a few pics of the RK My Fat boy is in my sig...

Not sure what you are asking.
Financially, its a loser. Dealers charge premium prices on used, and trade in value is just that. You're better off selling and buying private party. "Same payment, just more payments" is how people stay in debt forever.
In terms of the bikes, I prefer an FLH frame to a Softail, but that's just MHO.

If you want a RK, go with '09 and up, the new frame is a huge improvement.
I tend to avoid customized bikes...like that '07.
You are buying the previous owners taste in style.
Too many owners add doo-dads thinking it adds value..it doesn't.

I own a 2007 Road King (stock, 45K miles, bought new) and like it very much, but you just might be disappointed if you switch. Yeah, the 96 inch motor is nice, but the 07s were geared too high, and you can't really use the sixth gear unless you're running above 68 mph or so (my 09 Ultra is geared correctly from the factory, and sixth is usable above 60 mph).
I'd agree with those who suggest that you keep what you have. "The devil you know is better than the devil you don't". Or something like that.

You report that you have a low mileage 2005 that requires payments.
The bike is set-up to your liking and you report yourself as a one-up rider.
for myself, I would review interest rates at a credit union and compare with my present rate.
If it was me, i would consider adding additional funds to my payments in order to get out of debt as soon as possible.
If it was me, once paid in full, i would then continue setting money aside as if i still had a payment.
Each month that passed with no payment would put a bigger smile on my face.
