Default Heading to powder coat, can this be torn down further?

Like the title says, can this peg be torn down further? The rubber on the footboards was removable. Not sure if the rubber on this peg was glued in or not.

Thanks

If you are going to have it powdercoated, you gotta remove the rubber

Pull the allen bolt out from the opposite end you are holding on to.
