Probably not, the biggest issue with brake fluid is to keep it tightly sealed once you open the container.

+ 1 once the container is opened use it and trash any remainder.

There can be differences...look to dry and wet boiling points.
Do a search.

Believe it or not, Ford High Performance Brake Fluid is a "bang for the buck" product.

Lucas makes good stuff as well and it is readily available at Autozone. That is what I have been running in my bike and it works well.

Default Brake Fluid sources

Only about 3 companies in US make brake fluid. Marketers buy in bulk from them and package it. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 116 sets minimum wet and dry boiling points for each DOT grade. Typically, the higher the better for boiling points, just remember never to mix DOT 4 with DOT 5. The silicone-based DOT 5 is never compatible with DOT 4.

Viscosity can also vary a bit. Low viscosity is usually specified for ABS systems because the lower viscosity fluids allow for rapid feedback through the ABS system.

In general, buy the grade fluid recommended by your OEM and it's tough to go wrong.

Remember to use Brand X in your Brand B bike or your warranty will be voided.

Hell, Gunny - I'd probably just trash it like Kenny Said.
