Default Experience with using uhaul to tow my bike today

Just wanted to let everyone know of my experience with using a uhaul trailer today.

Couple of weeks ago when washing my bike, I accidentally pulled a wire that lead to the automatic compression release. That will teach me to be careful when using a small brush between the cylinders nit picking.

So today being that I live 75 miles to the closet dealer, I rented a 6X9 trailer with a drop down ramp and a wheel chalk in the nose. There were like six or eight tie down rings along the bottom inside.

Being the bike was in the limp mode, I pushed the Heritage up the ramp myself and was able to get the bike to stay upright and the first two straps tied down on my own.

The cost of rental here in central Florida was $33.00 with tax for 24 hour rental and returned to the pick up location.
I borrowed the neighbors 2006 Saab sport wagon and had no trouble pulling the combination.

On the trip home, the trailer stayed behind the car unlike some trailers that when empty sway back and forth when towing empty.

So I had a great experience getting the bike to the dealer.

I towed the bike to Manatee Harley in Bradenton Florida. This is my first visit to this dealer. I let you know how the visit goes when they finish.

Everyone Ride Safe!

Used one to trailer my trade in to the dealer (it wasn't registered)... very impressed with the design, made it an easy one person job.

I used one yesterday to haul mine to the dealer. I did the one with 4X9 with the larger wheels. Worked great. $15.
