Default Air Shocks lowest pressure/Safely

I'm curious on my 07 RK what the lowest pressure would be to safely ride solo with me being around 165lb and not destroy my rear shocks. I assume that decreasing the pressure lowers the bike? unless they made it to ride a certain height and the shocks just firm up the ride for added weight?? Am I thinking right here?

I only check mine when I load it down for a trip. Once a year.

My 97 has front and rear air. I run 0-R/0-F solo and 20-R/10-F for 2up, tour pack, and some baggage.

I tried different pressures and those is what i found I like. I think my book says I can run 0 psi without hurting the shocks if I remember right.

Good luck.

As long as it wasn't bottoming out I'd probably feel comfortable running as low as 2-3 PSI. The reason I'd suggest that one run a bit of pressure is to keep all the seals held in their normal working positions even when the bike is unloaded and not being ridden.
