Default fuel additives

I thought I would see what the consensus is here on the forum! Is anyone adding fuel additives on a regular basis and if so how often? What brand do you like?
thanks
Ranger Rick..

Been using Startron Ethanol treatment in all my small engines including the Dynas and Road Glide Ultra. Been using for about two years now. One ounce per 5 gals. Took a bottle with us with a small (premeasured) bottle to add while we were on the road last summer to prevent the gas problems we had when we went to Blue Ridge Parkway in 2013.

No. Don't use them in my car or truck either. In my diesel truck I add half a quart of automatic transmission fluid about once a month after a fill up. Trans fluid is flammable and does a good job of cleaning. I do get better mileage with that fill up than any other.

Ditto on the Seafoam, I don't add it as often as you do though, I may add it about 4 times a year. They suggest twice a year in this Popular Mechanics video. I add it to all my vehicles.

another vote for seafoam, use in all small engines, 1 oz per gallon, twice a year in truck and car, every fillup on the bike
