HELP with TRIBAR light
I recently added a rear fender extension and the new extension does not support the tribar light. I really I don't want the light any longer however it appears you need to have it to complete the circuit so that your rear tail, turn and brake lights work. Is there something made to put in the tribars place to close the circuit? Any help is greatly appreciated

As seen at the bottom of the fender of this bike.
This is just a running light.
There is a plug-n-play replacement that also functions as a brake light.

Well nobody else is doing any research.
Do you have a tail light or not?
It doesn't make sense, it shouldn't be like that.
You should be able to unplug the tribar light and the system is still functional.
Unless some previous owner didn't install it properly, as in cut wires and spliced,,
Have you looked? Ya gotta be able to see what's going on.
Call a harley dealer parts dept and ask and they'll probably give you the same answer,, the tribar is a plug and play add on.

It's kind of tough to understand these instructions, but what I gather is the original harness plugs into the tribar, then the new light harness goes back to the tail assembly. So when you unplug the tribar, you need to plug the original harness back to where it belongs.

If your going to do stuff like this yourself, you going to have to start taking things apart, so you can see what is happening

It is just a plug-n-play module for replacing the factory one.
No wiring modifications needed. You just remove the factory module and plug this one in. The new module will then function as a Brake Light.
I had one on my 2011 Street Glide.
But I do not know if unplugging the factory module will have any affect on the turn signal/brake lights on the Street Glide.

He has a 2011 Street Glide.
It came from the factory with the Tribar light module in the rear fender.
You post some link to an add on module that adds a brake light function.
All he wants to know is how to by-pass the factory module, and still allow the factory Street Glide rear (turn signal/brake lights) to function.
His new fender extension will do away with the module completely.
He hasn't really said, but it might be that he has already tried unplugging the factory module and discovered his rear turn signal/brake light combo no longer works.
