Default MC Gestures while in formation

Had a 1% club of 4 members flying in formation on the highway - passed a car and changed into their lane then one rider did a double pat on top of his helmet with a flat hand. Anyone know what that means? They got off the freeway at that point.

When I was riding crotch rockets we always did that if we saw a police car. It just gives everyone a heads up so they don't start getting wild.

That's not an MC thing. It just means there's a cop.

I never knew about this gesture until I came on here. Since then, I've done it a few times to passing bikes but I'm not sure if they saw me doing it. And I've never seen it done.
