HOG ABCs of Touring
Many riders don't get 2 s****s about this, but I always enjoy it. It gives a weekend warrior (and occasional daily rider) a great reason to ride; aside from just riding around pointlessly.
Anyway, I bought my brand new bike last month on 1/17/16, and 1 week later started going out on Saturdays just about every weekend since. I try to do about 200 mile rides to keep it relatively comfortable. Yesterday was one of my longest rides, and picked up 10 points, I ran in to another rider from up in New Jersey who was all the way down here in Florida. He was doing the same thing, and that felt pretty cool running in to someone doing the same thing.
Anyhow. 43 points in 41 days...and 1,350 miles. Looking forward to Bike Week next weekend, and another 4 points.

You get a few pieces of junk. One thing is of course a pin from HD with the year and ABC's of Touring verbiage. The other items are really pointless. The motivation is to ride. Collecting the points is just an excuse to go out of my way to ride to places I'd otherwise never go.

Ok, got it. Earning points motivate you to ride to places you never go to so you can receive meaningless awards from Harley.
I am thinking the award winner in this deal is Harley who benefits from the sales of tires, brakes and service department profits by motivating you to ride more.
