Default Now the Bike feels right!

Bought a 2003 Road King Classic back in October last year. Been too cold, icy, rainy, busy, whatever to go for a good long ride...until today! Knew there were some minor issues to take care of: Change OEM handelbars, change grips, seat mod, etc. Did all that over the last few months, so today was the test. Road about 150 miles... & WOW!! Am I happy!! . Bike rode like a dream! Tallboy handelbars & Mean City Cycles mod on the Tallboy seat really made a difference!! Knew it would take some miles to get the seat to settle in, but today I felt the difference. Settled down in the seat with the handlebars higher & closer to me. Really smooth, comfortable ride! Sold a 2010 Road King last year so wasn't sure if I would really ever be satisfied with the older frame, etc of a 2003, but I am HAPPY!! Surprisingly, it rode as well as the 2010 to me. Ready to pile on the miles now!

I had an 03 RK with Heritage bars and a Corbin touring seat. I loved that bike! Smooth and comfy all day long... I just picked up an 09 RK Classic last Saturday but haven't been able to ride it yet due to elbow surgery. Once Im healed though Im gonna start busting some miles out

That's what I though when I rode a 10 RK... VS my Heritage...

the King need different bars, seat to ever come close to the Heritage's ride and Ergo comfort of its stock form and then IMO it still was taller and didn't ride any better...
