Default Which non-bagger most like Street Glide?

Looking at various late model used non-baggers but the Street Glide is most appealing. Which model most closely resembles the Street Glide or is there no close option and I just need to get used to a bagger, am just a day tripper.

Get a Dyna Low Rider, add quick-detach saddlebags and windshield.

Voila, instant day tripper. With the slammed look of a Street Glide.

You are comparing apples to oranges. The touring bikes are very different from the Dynas, Softails and Sportsters. IMO there really is no comparison, and if you see my sig, you'll notice I have owned 2 Sportys, 2 Dynas and 3 Touring bikes.
You can add bags and windshields to the other bikes but in the end you still wont get the ride quality or comfort of a bagger/touring bike. Just my 0.02

The Fat Bob,Or Street Bob I get em mixed up. The one with big tires dual disk brakes up front, Throw on a QR fairing and bags, Go for a trip across the country.
Or take a test ride on a SG they are pretty nimble for such a heavy ride.

Why not get the street glide and put on a set of vance and hines big radius pipes. then you can take off the bags and bag rests when you don't need the storage, and put them on when you do. Lay the antennae down and zip tie it to the frame. You still get reception

I hate those pipes. They kick up more dust that a backpack leafblower.

I am having trouble understanding what you are asking or are trying to do.

You like a Street Glide, so buy a Street Glide.

Street Glide went into production in 2006, so you can get one brand new or ten years old and everything in between.

All a Street Glide basically is an Electra Glide without a tour pak, lowered rear suspension and bigger front wheel with lower profile tires and no passing lamps.
