New gal to hd forums
Hey! Just a girl from southern Illinois looking for tips tricks and advice.... lol
Figured HD forums could help me out
Not new to riding, but new to exploring new places... my husband and I have been to a few small bike rallies... going to check out Thunder on the beach in April? I think that's what it's called... but also thinking about going to Sturgis and wanted to know what are some good places to stay...

I used to be stationed at Eglin Afb and would go to thunder beach. It is a good time for what it is but over the years I feel it has changed. The night life was still fun and the fair grounds had a decent amount of venders. A lot of the stuff is spread out around Panama City. I am now stationed at Scott Afb and I have not really enjoyed riding around here. Maybe the roads are better where you are but around me the roads are falling apart. I am changing my entire setup to be able to ride on these roads in Illinois

Yeah the roads around here are all hit and miss.... meaning pray like hell you don't hit the pot holes that can chip and tooth and miss the ones that you will just disappear in....lol.... Only about an hour away from you.... if your still in these parts in June you should check out Hog Rock it's definitely a party
