Default x90 restoration

Hello all, I'm a new member looking for some help. I know it's no Dyna Glide, but I'm restoring a 75 X90 for a friend I will more than likely have a lot of questions. The first is, does anyone know if the early mc65 fuel tank is the same as the 73-75 X90? They look identical, but can't really get a good look at the mounting points. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks All, James

The X-90's are neat little rides. However, your question would be much better posed in one of the many Aermacchi web sites. From my personal recollection, I want to say, no, they are not the same.

Update, Tried Aermacchi forum, no response. Thank you for the input. If the question comes up again, the shape and mounting of the tanks are the same (per my inspection). The difference is the petcock location, mc65 tanks are on the left and the x90 is on the right.
Thanks, James

My memory says there is a difference in length too. But, it's been a while.
Ebay has tanks and other parts every now and again. Also, see if you have a motorcycle junk yard somewhere local. If not, try Nicks cycle salvage in Williamsville, NJ.
