I have a 2005 softail deluxe with 65,000 miles on it.I thought I would look thru my Service Manual to see when to replace the wheel bearings.But cound'nt find anything,so I searched some old threads.I read that the bearings on 2000-2007 had double row bearings,and are better then the ones that they put in other years.Does HD put the same bearings on all models those years?I read that these bearings will last 70,000 to 100,000 miles.How many miles have some of you have got out of them before replacing them.I don't want to wait till its to late.

 

I have 91000 miles on stock originals and they still feel smooth so I might ride them for another year.

 

Got 100,000 on my rear wheel bearings but only get 25,000 on my fronts.

 

53k on my 07's and still going.

 

I check mine whenever I remove a wheel.

 

I got 122.565 on 04 not going to touch them.
