Need a windsheild or some kinda music setup.
Just got a windvest windsheild 1 1/4 handlebar mounts now need some kinda real loud speaker set up. It's for fxst 2005 type. Needs to cranks out about 3000dbs for me to hear it. Blu tooth would work. What's out there and pics would be greatly appreciated. And prices haven't payed no attention to parts in years and always found the best opinions on all kinda of parts hear. Thanks

$90, better sound quality than you will receive from any speaker system while riding and infinitely cheaper. Plus you can use it for other things too!!! Reduces high frequency wind noise. Adjustable global noise reduction (how far they are in your ears). And then you can tune the volume on the fly while riding to suit your needs.
The other bonus is that nobody has to know you're listening to Ace of Base. But then again some guys just like to play their sound systems for pedestrians..... I guess my point of view is evident.

I recently bought a 2009 Road King with a Shark Audio system on the bars behind the windshield. It has small 2.5 inch chrome speakers and a 250 watt amp. I have not rode the bike yet due to elbow surgery but my buddy rode it home for me and tried the sound system out. He said it sounded pretty good up to about 65 mph. Once he got up to 70-75 he said he could still hear it but it didn't sound as good due to the wind noise and exhaust (Rush slip ons). I sat on the bike and played it in the shed, sounded really good sitting still :-). FWIW I looked on Amazon and the system I have costs around $90 to $100 shipped.
Edit- I just went out and looked at mine and it has the 150 watt amp not the 250. My bad

I looked at the Reckless Motorcycles Hoodz system this weekend in Daytona. It mounts on your windshield.http://www.jpcycles.com/product/164-098
At Destination Daytona they assured me it would work on my Fatboy with V & H big shots, but the dude at their tent at the Speedway track told me I probably wouldn't be able to hear it at 70-80 mph.
There are not many reviews on the internet so I don't know what to think. Anybody?

Has anyone used marine speakers? I had a set like the Bigfoot blue tooth headphones but got ran over. Fell out of my bandana on a bridge and didn't get to them on time. I wish somebody made a bandana speaker maybe some zip ties. Thanks after looking at prices for systems I think I'll sow a around cord connecting speakers to a bandana.
