Default easiest way to bleed brakes!

was having trouble bleeding my front brakes. air in line, took forever for fluid to reach my caliper. instead of spending $50-$75 on a 'pro bleeder', or a 'mighty vac' you can make one. stop at your local auto parts store pick up an oil can. preferably one with a lever to pull. attach a 1/4' clear hose to the end of it. fill your new oil can with your recommended brake fluid, attach clear hose to bleeder valve on caliper. open bleeder valve and pump your fluid to your master cylinder. make sure your master cylinder cap is off that way the air bubbles can escape. also don't pump too hard. (nobody likes brake fluid on their paint). the reason you pump up is because air travels upward. your fluid will never reach your caliper if there is air in the line. use this trick to literally pump your fluid to your master cylinder. bleeding is required after to make sure all of the air is gone. worked like a charm for me. good luck and happy bleeding!

Interesting method. One thing I found really helpful to get air out of the line was to squeeze the front brake lever and use a zip tie to hold it in the open position, and leave it that way overnight. The air slowly rose to the top, and there was a little air bubble in the master cylinder the next morning. A few whacks of a mallet on the brake caliper also helps to free stuck air bubbles. It's definitely more difficult doing a bike than a car.

I've never had a problem doing it the old fashion way, Pump it up, crack the bleeder, tighten the bleeder, repeat.

Some vinyl hose, and that big plastic syringe for measuring oil to fill the forks. About 5 bucks worth of parts.

Get a set of speed bleeders. Take out the stock bleeders, put them in , just crack it open and pump away. The check valve in it keeps air from being sucked back into the lines. Its makes it a one man job, where you don't have to be a contortionist to bleed the brakes.,,,

I think he's talking about filling a new or dry front brake system. It can be a real bitch filling up the MC and trying to pump all the air out from the top.

Yes, this. I had to replace the front master cylinder, and it was a real momma to get it working right.
