Default my gas cap holding idea

I just hit on a brilliant business venture! I will be hanging around the busiest gas station in town, holding gas caps for people while they fill up![for a small fee] Not just bikes either,I'm sure there's got to be some 4 wheeler drivers that have the same quandary.
Anybody want to buy a franchise? I'll need some 'start up cash' to get this plan off the ground.

Why don't you hold a hand-written cardboard sign on the corner of any street to get your "start-up cash"....

But has anyone ever answered the question "what's the right number of clicks for tightening the gas cap?"

Well, you won't get any business from me!

I have a helmet for my gas cap and I use it EVERY SINGLE time the cap is off the bike!!! You know, a totally destroyed gas cap isn't so bad, you throw it out and get on with your life, but a lightly cracked or marred gas cap is a long time liability! Not all gas cap accidents result in the total destruction of the cap. Sometimes they're laying on the ground next to the pump and somebody steps on the edge of it, or another bike rolls over it just a little bit. Sure you want to keep it in action, you put it back on the tank... but in your heart you know it's leaking vapor just a little bit. It's sad really.

I think helmets for dismounted gas caps should be mandatory in EVERY state!

I also use a trailer to carry my gas cap helmet to gas stations at big rallies far away from me. Mainly cause I'm too lazy to carry the gas cap helmet all that way.

Unless you are a certified HD mechanic, I am afraid that letting you hold my my gas cap while performing the fueling process will void my warranty.
