Looking for a good pair of leather gloves. What do you recommend?

Gonna have to give a little more detail than that....

You looking for an all purpose leather glove? Gauntlet? Shorty? Armored? Perforated? And the list goes on.......

Great gloves, inexpensive and made in the USA from locally harvested animals:

I have several pair and styles.

More or less a shorter glove. Mainly for summer/fall riding

I've had very good luck with Held gloves. Had three sets. The higher end stuff. Light, very protective, and good feel for the bike. Crash tested them on the race track.

Really depends on what you're looking for in a glove. A good basic riding glove can be had at the local hardware store in the form of deerskin work gloves. The Aerostitch Elkskin Ropers would be a step up from that. I generally (75% of the time) wear a pair of Weise short gloves with full armor protection. Or a pair of BMW light armor waterproof summer gloves. Or the ventilated leather Pursuit gloves. In a price range from 20 bucks for the deerskins to about 175 for the BMW.

And if you're like most, you will end up with more than a few pairs.

In the summer I use $10 tan work gloves from Sears. They last about 2 years.

Napa glove company and safety. Google it. Good gloves and selection. The web site says they sell through dealers only but I drop in whenever I need a pair. Prices are decent. The Gauntlet with thinsulate work awesome on cold

I have so many pairs I lost count.... I look @ gloves like tools. Different 1's for different jobs. I've yet to find a glove that can do it all thru 4 seasons of riding. Especially riding different types of motorcycles
