Default moco and manual

two newbie questions.

What does MoCo mean? I've seen it in a lot of posts but the online acronym searches don't show anything motorcycle related.

I need torque specs for an 09 electra glide UC. Is there an online repository for that or should I buy a manual? If so, which brand of manual is best?

Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum from Colorado!
MOCO stands for Motor Company. It's a commonly used reference for H-D.

Get the Harley service manual. Parts manual comes in handy, although there are on-line resources. The Clymer manual is ok, but pay the extra for the H-D one.

I agree. Service manual and parts book from MOCO is a great idea.

Agree on factory manuals. I'd get both. And a note book to record all repairs, maintenance, addons, etc. This will come in handy down the road.

Get an HD manual, worth the price when you do your own maintenance.

The Harley manuals are the only way to go. Anything else is second rate. If you want to do it right, get the Harley manuals. The service manual is a must for me. The parts manual is good to have, but not a necessity.
