Route Planning thru Louisville Ky
Planning a route that will pass thru Louisville, Ky and need current information on road construction.
Will be passing thru on Interstate 64 East to Interstate 71 North up to Cincinnati, Ohio.
I know that road construction is perpetual, ongoing nightmare with the connecting interstates in Louisville, that being I65, I64, I71 and I265.
Can anyone tell me what I will have to deal with going thru Louisville in July?
I can take an alternate route if its going to be any delay in Louisville.
thanks for your help and input

I ride through there on 64 relatively frequently. The only time I've had an issue was when I found myself there at 5:30pm.....And relatively speaking, rush hour in Louisville is nearly nonexistent compared to what I'm used to (DC Metro area).

From the I-64 onto the 265 Gene Snyder to the I-71 will bypass the city - no major construction on this route.
As others have mentioned, the I-64 approaching Louisville, and the 265 can get fairly congested at peak times.
That route will bypass all scenic areas.
