Default Waiting for pipe..?

I ordered a V&H slip on from my local dealer almost 2 weeks ago, is that a normal lead time?

Coincidentally they are having their 3 year party in 2 days, I received an automated call inviting me to the party. For some reason I'm suspicious that my pipe has arrived and they are going to call me on the day of the party to say it's in. If they held all the special orders until the day of the party it will increase the foot traffic and inflate the number of people there for the event.

Or...I'm just being impatient 😄.

What has your experience been?

Spring time and everybody is getting their motorcycles ready for riding season across the country. This causes a negative supply vs. positive demand situation when it comes to parts.

I think the bikini bike wash is what inflates people at those events.

Automated calls to a party aren't really "special"...the event might be to them but that's all.

I recently got my new Cobra's from Dennis Kirk in like 2 days.

I don't go to the dealer for aftermarket parts.
