Headsets and Edsets J & M and Sena
To stay tethered or go Bluetooth? Tethered = Harley, Edsets or J & M. The two independents want between $275 and $400 ("Let us install") for a freakin' headset. And I need two. That's crazy money.
Ebay provided me a brand new PAIR of Sena 20s for $339. I can get a free install.
One of the reasons to have an Ultra is the BOOM audio. If I go Bluetooth, I don't use it.
What to do? I'm using modified Harley headsets that we rigged to enable earbud use. Working now, but those tiny, threadlike wires are erratic and doomed to fail sooner rather than later.
Your thoughts are appreciated.

If I had the Ultra, I'd go with the Boom. The Sena 10 that I have works well enough for what it is but I would likely look for another solution if I was in the market again. The main reason is that the small speakers in the Sena 10s just don't sound as full as I'd like when I'm listening to Johnny, Willie, or Merle. As far as intercom goes, it's great.
