Default J & P Cycles Shipping Tale

I placed a $58 order with J & P Tues April 19 at 1:17 p.m. MDT. Included was free ground shipping. 23 hours later (+ or -) the UPS truck rolls up with the first part of the order. The weird thing is I'm in far western Colorado and am used to somewhat slower deliveries no matter who is doing it. So it should have been 5 - 7 business days. The rest of the order is common oil related stuff so I'm leaving the gate open for the next part.
So I am impressed, and BTW I'm not connected to J & P in any way.

Sometimes it's all about when the order hits, get's processed and when the outbound truck arrives at the distribution center. You must have hit it just right in this case.

I ordered a few dozen jungle hats from my supplier in Richmond, VA at 2:00 pm on Wednesday 20 April and the UPS truck arrived at my store at 1100 am Thursday morning. That's equivalent to overnight express at ground shipping rates.

I saw that they were offering free shipping a week or so ago. While needing to order some items, I decided to pass due to their shipping as of late. Thanks for the update though.

I've always liked J&P, good to see they are getting it back on track after their changes.

Same here, been doing business with them about 20 years or so. I was thinking they responded in one of the other threads that they should have things back on track by the middle of April.

Thanks for the info Gary, I was needing some parts about a month ago but with all they (J&P) had going on I ordered from MOCO instead, something I rarely do. Ordered from dealer on Tuesday and he told me parts would be in on Thursday or Friday and they were but it was 3 weeks later. **** happens everywhere now and then I guess.

I have a list of stuff I was waiting to order from J&P when things got lined out, guess I will give it a shot.

Placed an order from J&P Tuesday, the Redline Tranny and Primary oil were here Wednesday. The other part, a derby gasket on Friday. This was shipped free with a Gold Membership. Different order placed on Monday too will be delivered Friday. Last order was the same, one part next day and one couple of days later. Quick shipping for sure. Kirk is also great. I order from whoever has in stock. High respect for Kirk also. This time around J&P knocked it out of the park. The Gold Membership at J&P is a good deal.

I've placed three orders with J&P over the last month. All have arrived within days.
