there are a couple of videos of the technique up on the web. Just google zip tie tire removal. The process is pretty easy but slower than having the proper tools. Let the air out, break the bead on both sides, slide a 24 inch zip tie under the bead and around the tire.
Tighten the zip tie and then slide another one thru and slide it 8 to 10 inches from the first. Tighten it down. Continue the process until you've used five to eight zip ties and you'll be able to pull them all tight enough to fold the beads inward and compress the tire enough to push it off the rim.
Soapy water for lube helps and reverse the process to install a tire.
It works, I've done it on a small car tire. The hardest part is breaking the bead before the first zip tie (if you're in the middle of nowhere)
