Frye Harness Boots
Hello. I am new here and was wondering about how Frye harness boots size runs. I am looking at getting some Frye harness boots off ebay, because I live nowhere around a place that carries frye for me to go in and try on a size to see what fits. I have to just go off the interenet and chance it really. I was looking at these boots here

Really hoping they would fit me, because I wear a size 9.5 in shoes like ****, but 10's in Carolina Boot's. Anybody know if these would fit snug, or would they be to big on me? Thanks for helping a newbie out

Assuming you are buying these boots for riding and you are just dying to have them because of the way they look, buy 'em and have your local shoesmith replace the worthless flat soles with quality Vibram soles. It will cost you $100 to $130 for parts and labor. Your total is going to be around $169.99 + $100 (or $130) = $269.99 to $299.99.
If you are buying these boots as regular street shoes, then you don't have to replace the soles.

How do you like them ballking? Are they a narrow boot? Does the charcoal have a distressed look to it in the color? Does it make it seem like you have a big foot with the toe it has?

I have a pair of these boots. Great boot, very sturdy and well made. Agree that they fit true to size and are a bear to break in. I've never worn them riding and for all of the reasons above, along with the fact that they are VERY stiff, never would. My 2 cents - buy em for the great price and for wearing them any and everywhere EXCEPT riding.
