Hello, I was wondering how difficult is it to swap foot controls? I'm going to buy a street bob next month but the mid controls feel very uncomfortable for my long legs and I want to install forward foot controls. Is it something I could easily do myself or should I just take it to get it done professionally?

 

Can't say on a Bob but on my Sporty it was a couple hours work, not bad at all. if you look the kit up on HD website you'll find instructions on the "more info" tab. That'll give you the best idea I expect.

 

Did it on my sportster. Took an afternoon and a 6 pack of cold ones.

A motorcycle jack helps....but it's not necessary
