Default Road king steering

I just finished up putting 14 carlini on my 2000 classic noticed now that turning bars to the right all the way that's it's very hard to turn back straight. Turning left is fine,no cables binding at all.

Did you change the throttle cables, brake line, clutch line etc?

Did you adjust the clutch? Not sure if that would cause a problem but it wouldn't hurt to make sure its adjusted correctly. Also are you just turning the bars in your garage? Maybe theres something on the floor?

When you turn right, compared to left, is it hard to turn or feel a little binding? If it is hard to bring back, I bet you can feel a slight binding when turning.

Disconnect your cables from your bars and see if there's a difference. If there is, you know it's a cable issue. If there isn't, it's probably the steering head bearing.

Lift the front wheel off of the ground then see if the forks bind or if they will turn freely.

If you have an obstruction now that you didn't have before it has to be cables or wiring and either way it MUST be corrected before you attempt to ride this bike.

You might have some wiring wrapped around something inside the nacelle. Take the headlight out and check steering again while watching what's going on in there.
