Default Any value in an old frame with the headstock cut off?

Old as in I think it is a Panhead frame. From the pics it looks like the frame is straight and good but someone torched the Headstock right off. Maybe they wanted a chopper, I don't know and neither does the owner.

Is it worth trying to save?

If it is a panhead frame...and it is straight..it is worth saving...you can buy a new neck casting...common repair since so many were "raked" back in the day.

yes, if it is not crazily priced. Remember, titles went to engines in those days, so the frame has value.

it looks like it might have been modded at one time. Depends what you want to do with it. Do you have a pan or shovel to drop in it? $400.00 might be a bit high.

No plans at all. Just something to set in the corner until I do. Maybe have it repaired of course. Maybe not to stock. Who knows?
