Default Premium ride, hand-adjustable touring shocks

Anyone know if these HD shocks fit the pre 09 bikes? Specially 97 thru 07 touring. The catalog says 09 up

Don't know if this is gonna help but I think you're better off with some aftermarket suspensions.I had an oil leak in my so called HD advanced suspension and was about to get it replaced with the same thing until I read it here.I decided to go for the Progressive 944 and must admit the ride is much MUCH better than what I had on earlier. You really should consider it.

Stock Haley shocks suck.

I agree with the 944s. Made a big difference in my bike. I mean seriously you don't know what you're missing.

I upgraded my 12 Street glide from the stock air shocks to the premium hand adjustables and they were a huge improvement.

Not only smoother ride, but much better control.
Bought them used for $320 and sold the airs for $100.

For me they are good enough, easy to adjust and install.

Have a buddy that hates his progressive, and others that love their Ohlins. The Ohlins are great shocks, but take some work to dial in and take longer to change over from riding single to double.

Pretty happy with my upgrade.

the shocks will physically fit. but they are not recommended. the way they adjust, it puts more stress on one side of the swingarm and the older swingarm just isn't designed for it. does that mean that if you use them you'll have problems? not necessarily. but it doesn't mean you won't either.
