What do you do with your stock exhaust that you take off? It seems like you can't even give it away. I have stock exhaust off of a 15 Breakout and 12 Sportster just taking up room in my garage. Listed on Craigslist and no takers. What does the dealership do with the takeoffs. Trash em?

 

I donate mine to my indie mech and he hooks me up later with stuff I might need. Some people hang them on the wall as ornaments in the garage. I never put it back on if I sell the bike now I have the replacement set you have to get rid of as well. I'm a minimalist and don't like boxes of spare crap hanging around.

 

Keep 'em! Never know when noise/emission laws might change and you'll need stock exhaust again.

I put em on a shelf too. The thought being that if/when I sell the bike, I'd put them back on and sell the aftermarket ones. In retrospect - that aint hapenin'! So, they're just taking up space until I need it for something else. Then they'll go to scrap or trash.

 

I throw it away.

I hung them up on my garage wall as Art.... I've got 2 sets in fact

 

Maybe turn them into a couple side take lamps? I have mine in a box taking up space.
