Default Can't get my throttle all open

OK so I bought a 01 wide glide that has 14 inch apes on it and it also has a mikuni carb on it .... I had a idle cable pop the other day I thought no big deal I'll order the cable and just replace both while I'm doing it. After I got the cables delivered and changed out everything felt good I got on the road and I can not get enough throttle and I don't know what was changed to give me this problem. Thank you so much for any help or anyone that has had a similar problem

Adjust the throttle cable first to get full throttle & then adjust the idle cable enough to take the slack out. Rotate the handlebars & check that the throttle doesn't bind.

I agree Tommy I've done that it's got the right amount of play the idle cable is returning properly it's just not opening all the way.... being the seconday owner Ivery had a hard time with technicians because even though I know it's an aftermarket carb I can't find the correct model of it would there be different cables that the carb would make different... the lengths are the same and it fits into everything right

So you have no more adjustment left on the throttle (pull) cable?

Correct which both cables I pulled off to replace were out of adjustment as well so I got to thinking maybe I am supposed to have custom cables made but the last ones were not and we rode great until idle popped.

You may have to have Barnett make you a set of custom cables.
