Tired of turning around in the driveway
Well, over the winter, I built a turntable to drive into the garage, and then turn around pointing out to head out. Got tired of backing turning backing turning, you know. Well, a piece of 10" channel and a simple "lazy susan" bearing bought at the local hardware store that had a 1000 lb capacity. Turned out ok so far. I suspect the bearing may fail after a few years, but $20 for a new one is worth it. Didn't have to even bolt it to the floor, just the weight of the unit keeps it in place.
Hope the video uploads, this was the first time loading a video, and first time on the turntable, works great after trying it a couple times.

Not sure how long it will last, but the bearing is $12 Canadian which is pretty cheap. If it lasts a couple years, which I think it will, not bad at all for the convenience ! Thanks
Oh, by the way, that was my first roll onto it, wife was laughing shaking her head at the things I do. See now, it's a breeze, I can do circles now ha ha
