Default Addiction or Hobby

Which category do you fall under. Are you the type who thinks about your bike all the time, wondering what mod you'll do next. Waiting for spring to get here, getting out and riding everyday possible, planning trips.

Or are you the casual rider or see's it as just another form of transportation. Maybe the guy who tinker's with them to look a certain way then sells it and off to the next project.

Since I can ride all year long now,its a hobby. When I lived up north and was winter bound, it was a addiction waiting for spring.

Neither. It is who I am. Just like being a red head, or right handed.

I think I am pretty addicted. I don't know if it ever was just a hobby.

Not to be contrary to cprhed, but...
BOTH. It is my sole form of transportation AND it occupies many of my thought processes. I wouldn't say it's who I am, but it is very much a part of what makes me, "ME"...

Definitely the first one. Winter is pure torture for me.

Cheers!

It's not the only thing that makes me what I am, but it's a big part of it. Except for a three year period, I've had a motorcycle since 1972. I've had the current one since 1993.

Neither, in my case, it's an obsession.

It's an addiction for me. I live in the snow belt, so I ride as much as possible. This includes commuting to work, errands and weekend trips. I also do as much of my own maintenance as I can.

I never understood folks who only ride on Sunday, won't chance getting caught in rain, and spend more time at HOG meetings than riding. But that's cool--ownership has many different forms.
