I have recently located a 70s AMF motorcycle that will be going to auction soon. It is a single cylinder, but I am not sure on size, year, extras, etc. I am hoping someone here can help me make an informed decision on how much this thing is worth. I think it would be a fun project to tinker with if it goes for the right price.

This bike has 1440 miles on the clock and has likely been sitting at least the last 30 years. It appears to be in pretty decent condition. Sorry as the attached is the only picture I have.

Post a picture in its own thread of the AMF bike you are wanting to identify and learn about. Something like: "What kind of HD is this and how much is it worth?"

 

Looks like a old Rapido 2 stroke 125cc bike.Worth about 1,000 to 1,500 restored.

 

I had a friend at one time a long time ago, who had a 250 HD two stroke and the damn thing spent more time inside the shop, than it did on the out side the shop.
